The chat group is hosted by yahoo. Your method of joining depends on your email adress.
If you have a yahoo email address...
Use this link . Then click on the “Join this Group” button, and follow the instructions. When you are asked for a “Comment to Owner” please include your name, and your allotment site and plot number. This will make your approval to the group much quicker.
If you have a non-yahoo email address...
You can still join our chat group. You will be able to send emails to the group, and receive copies of all emails sent by other members. However you will not have access to the archive of old messages.
You will receive a reply, with a link that you need to click to confirm that you did want to be a member of the group. Please click on this link. The webpage to which you are directed will try to encourage you to “join the group” (for which you will need to join yahoo). Feel free to resist this! Look carefully and you will find another option at the bottom where you can “join the mailing list instead”. With this option you do not need to sign up for a yahoo email address.
